Karen Dixon has been an educator for many years. Her experience in the classroom ranges from fused glass classes for children 8+ to graduate level classes as an assistant professor at UAB. Dixon has worked with individuals with disabilities both in and out of the classroom for over 30 years.
Karen has been creating fused glass art and functional pieces since 2008 and enjoys teaching both the technical and design aspects of the craft.

John has always been attracted to many forms of art, most of all the medium of glass. When introduced to fused glass and realizing the endless possibilities that it has to offer, he has been able to fullfill his passion for art by using his imagination and creativity to combine color and texture into distinctive glass creations
John’s education in Electrical Engineering combined with his artistic ability and understanding of the interaction of light with color has made possible these one of a kind creations that people can enjoy every day.

Potter and fused glass artists. Jo is an artist and art educator who has taught children, teens and adults in public schools, museums and cultural arts centers. In 1998, she earned a B.S. in Art Education from AUM and in 2005, a B.F.A. with a concentration in Ceramics from University of Montevallo. She specializes in pottery and fused glass and most days you can find her in her studio, Taylor’s Studio 903. She is a member of the Selma Art Guild and has artwork for sale at the Selma Art Guild Gallery and Dixon Creative, LLC.
