I am feeling so incredibly blessed! I am starting a family business with my husband – Tom, my son – Jess, and my daughter-in-law – Darcy.  We are hard at work tending to all the details to get a business started – and legal, as well as creating a welcoming space for all our customers.

I’m excited to have a teaching space where I can set my own schedule and students are able to continue learning about fused glass.  I am very thankful to the Birmingham Museum of Art for providing a space to teach and getting me excited again about teaching this fun and challenging craft. We plan to have open studio times and eventually sell limited tools, sheet glass and accessories.  We will also sell my fused glass and fine craft items from local makers.

Darcy will be teaching craft classes and have social games for children in the afternoons. We welcome the homeschool community to come and make a project and play some games.

Jess is handling the IT stuff – website, online store, square, and will be our bookkeeper.  Tom will be supervising all of us and keeping us in line!

If you are an artist looking for a place to teach. Give us a call. We will offer reasonable rates to use our space.

We will post our teaching schedule this coming week and will announce the date for our opening celebration at that time.

See you soon!
